  • 1 (8-ounce) package plain Brie, softened
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) package sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 pound sliced deli pastrami
  • 1 (10-ounce) package baby spinach salad
  • 1/4 pound sliced Havarti cheese

What to Do

  1. Slice the bread lengthwise into thirds. In a medium bowl, combine Brie, butter, crushed red pepper, and black pepper; mix well. Spread over cut sides of bread, including both sides of the middle section.
  2. On the bottom slice of bread, layer half of onion, Swiss cheese, pastrami, and half of spinach. Top with center section of bread, remaining onion, Havarti cheese, and remaining spinach.
  3. Replace top of bread and secure at regular intervals with sandwich toothpicks. Cut and serve.
