We think this recipe's title, Ham and Hash Brown Soup, is a mouthful to say, but take a mouthful of it and you'll think it's absolutely delicious - you won't mind if it's a mouthful to say.

What You'll Need

  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cup frozen cubed hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 1 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (14.75-ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (11-ounce) can nacho fiesta cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 dash Dash of black pepper

What to Do

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
     
  2. Add corn and remaining ingredients to Dutch oven; cook until thoroughly heated, stirring often.
     

Notes

Supermarkets are making it oh-so-easy to get homecooked meals on the table-fast! Look for already-chopped ham in the meat section and prechopped vegetables with the produce.
