Nothing says "party" like a whole turkey, but who wants to carve around all the bones when guests are waiting? Using a precooked turkey breast gives you the same turkey taste and makes you look like a carving pro. And there's no waste!

What You'll Need

  • 2 to 2 ½ cups water (see Note)
  • 1 (6- to 7-pound) whole, boneless, cooked deli turkey breast
  • 1 (16-ounce) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/3 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard

What to Do

  1. Shape a piece of aluminum foil into a 1/2-inch-high ring and place in bottom of a soup pot. Pour in 2 to 2-1/2 cups water.

  2. Place turkey breast on top of aluminum foil ring, keeping turkey from touching bottom of pot. Bring to a boil over high heat, cover, then reduce heat to medium-low and steam 60 to 75 minutes, or until turkey is heated through (see Note).

  3. While turkey is steaming, place cranberry sauce, marmalade, brown sugar, and dry mustard in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat for 4 to 5 minutes, or until hot. Remove turkey to a platter and pour glaze over it.

Note

You may need to add additional water when steaming the turkey if the water boils away, so keep a close eye on the water level.
