Steaming Pork Fried Rice

If you're creating a Chinese menu for dinner tonight, then our Steaming Pork Fried Rice is a great place to start! This is made with delicious ingredients and comes together faster than take-out would be delivered. Plus, since it's made in your own kitchen, we know it's going to have a fresher taste! Our Steaming Pork Fried Rice is a hearty Chinese menu item that's sure to satisfy the biggest of appetites! 

What You'll Need

  • 4 tablespoon peanut oil, divided
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 pound cooked boneless pork loin, cut into small pieces
  • 3 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 cup cooked cold rice
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced

What to Do

  1. In a large skillet over high heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil until hot. Add eggs and stir to scramble 1 to 2 minutes or until fluffy, then remove from skillet; set aside.
  2. Add remaining oil to the skillet and heat until hot. Stir in pork and garlic and stir fry 2 minutes.
  3. Add rice and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes or until rice is heated through.
  4. Return scrambled eggs to the skillet along with peas, soy sauce, salt and pepper, and scallions. Cook 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through. Serve immediately.
