Our No Sacrifice Cheese Ball is the perfect choice for entertaining, especially for anyone watching their waistline. This lighter version of a tried and true classic cheese ball is sure to be a tasty hit.

What You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 package (8 ounces) light pasteurized processed cheese spread, softened
  • 4 ounces light cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

What to Do

  1. In a medium bowl, beat all the ingredients except the parsley until well blended.

  2. Place the parsley in a shallow dish and spoon the cheese mixture onto the parsley, rolling to form into a ball or other shape (see Note), coating completely with the parsley.

  3. Serve, or wrap well and chill until ready to serve.

Notes

It's fun to have themed parties, and this dish gives us a way to carry over our rock 'n' roll or any other theme onto the hors d'oeuvre table. Just form it into the shape of a musical note or any other simple shape that fits with your party.
