Quick and delicious. Husband loves these.

Call it cake or call it bread, this is delicious. (My Aunt Maxine always called hybrids like this tea loaves.) For a yummy reduced fat version, eliminate 1/2 cup of oil 1/4 cup of water substitute in 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce. Warm, cold, or room temperature - hard to beat with a fresh cup of coffee or tea.

This looks like the perfect kind of recipe to make on a Saturday afternoon to eat for breakfast the next day. Yum!

Yes, please! This is definitely more of a cake than a bread, but that's a-ok with me. I loved every bite. It's perfect with a cup of hot tea in the morning!

This is really yummy! Gone as soon as it is made!!!

Why can you not post pictures on some of your recipes? I like to see what I'm making....and I like to pin recipes onto Pinterest but usually don't if there is no picture.....

Hello! We apologize for the inconvenience; we're working on putting up photos for all of our recipes as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, and enjoy!

i followed the recipe as written and received numerous complements

This recipe sounds easy and delicious, and I like the idea of making 5 little gifts, but how do you adapt it now that cake mixes have been changed from 18.25 ounces to 15.25 ounces?

Cut all ingredients by 1/6.

U measure with a measuring cup.

I just add extra flour to the cake mix.
