Some very angry people. On another note, yes use some boneless chopped chicken. Make the meal an all in one dish by adding 1 cup rice cooked in 2 cups chicken broth. I cut the stuffing mix in half I don't need all the carbs.

I have one question. Is the stuffing, prepared stuffing or is stuffing out of the box? I hope I don't sound stupid and if I do, so what.

No worries! It is stuffing mix from the box. :)

I have made this casserole for 50 years. It is great and you can sub almost any cream soup you like. I don't use stuffing mix but usually crush crakers, cheese. plain whatever you have, mix with a little melted butter. It is a very easy receipe and always eaten.

You know ou can do anything with broccoli cheese! Adding the chicken sounds good and cream of celery and a little less mayo would be my suggestion. Yes, you are right "you can't fix stupid". Common sense should a pill you take every morning until you get some.

I have made this as a full meal in the past by adding chopped cooked chicken. I usually use cream of chicken soup also.

Here is another recipe lacking in instructions! Time to wake up people!

John Wayne said "You can't fix stupid". If these instructions are not simple enough you couldn't boil water. If anyone wants fat free food they need to cook with fat free ingredients.

John Wayne was right. What's with all the sniping here? Don't worry, be happy now. :)

Sounds delicious, but the cream of mushroom soup, the Cheddar cheese and the cup of mayonnaise seems like these ingredients would put on some pounds. Might there be some way to lighten this food so that you are not putting on the pounds?

Duh use fat free mayo reduced sodium soup and low fat cheese it's not that hard to figure out

Personally, I don't see any reason for some of the disrespect I'm reading in some of these comments. A simple and courteous reply would be enough--otherwise don't reply at all.

This is so good. Who cares that it doesn't have meat? It doesn't need it. Yum

When you refer to herb-seasoned stuffing mix, is that Stove Top or stuffing mix in a bag?

it can be either to measure the amount in the recipe i have calls for 1/2 cup on top
