Fettuccine with Chicken and Lobster Sauce

A classic dish that uses a few shortcuts and is ready in minutes. (But it'll take your gang ages to stop raving about it!)

Serves: 4

Cooking Time: 15 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 of a medium-sized onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed lobster bisque
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips (about 1-1/2 chicken breasts)
  • 3 cups hot cooked fettuccine (about of a 16-ounce package)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
What To Do:
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion in the butter for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the bisque, milk, and 1/4 cup cheese. Bring to a boil; add the chicken. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.

  2. Add the fettuccine. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly ground pepper, if desired. Serve immediately.
