Our Quick and Easy Pie is a lip-smacking make-ahead wonder! There's no baking involved and it's made from just four decadent ingredients...could it get any better?

What You'll Need

  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 (6-ounce) chocolate pie crust
  • 1 (11.75-ounce) jar chocolate ice cream topping
  • 3 (1.4-ounce) English toffee candy bars, chopped
  • 8 maraschino cherries with stems
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

What to Do

  1. Spoon vanilla ice cream into crust. Cover and freeze 3 hours, or until ice cream is firm.

  2. Evenly spread ice cream topping over ice cream; sprinkle with chopped candy. Freeze 2 hours, or until ready to serve.

  3. Top each serving with a dollop of whipped topping and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.

It would be easier to run down to Dairy Queen.

This is an easy tasty anytime dessert...especially on a HOT summer day...I use frozen yogurt to save even more calories and use a dollop of fat free cool whip....delicious! !

Sounds easy to make. Can you cut down on the sugar though?

Sure you can! You can always substitute with low-fat, low-sugar or even sugar-free ice cream or toppings. Think of this as a starting point and then create whatever combination works for you! Enjoy!

You could use sugar free ice cream which is all I use and some are very good. You can also buy sugar free toppings.

Sure sounds like something i need to make. :)
