What You'll Need

  • 24 chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar

  • Assorted gummy worms for garnish

What to Do

  1. Reserve 2 tablespoons cookie crumbs; place remaining cookie crumbs in a medium bowl. Add butter and mix well.
  2. Press crumb mixture into bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill until ready to use.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and confectioners' sugar until creamy. Stir in whipped topping until completely mixed. Evenly spread over cookie crust.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread over cream cheese layer. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs and garnish with gummy worms.
  5. Refrigerate 4 hours, or until ready to serve.

I have made this many times and never added peanut butter or chocolate pudding.

The sandwich cookies are they the cream filled Oreos? or the chocolate wafer cookies? If using Oreos is it the whole cookie or just the chocolate cookie not the cream inside?

Hi Jackie! - Yes, the sandwich cookies are any cream-filled cookies, like Oreos. You use the whole cookie in this recipe. :) Enjoy!

what could I substitute for the peanut butter---any other flavoring??

For a vanilla filling mix 1 cup whipped topping and a tsp of vanilla extract with cream cheese and confectioners sugar. It should be yummy!!

I will be making this for my grandsons birthday May 5th...thanks

If you don't have a spring form pan, can this be made in another kind of pan?

You could make the cake in an 8 or 9 inch square pan, but you'll have to cut slices and serve from the dish. The great thing about a springform pan is that the cake pops out so you can see the beautiful layers.
