Fast Clam Chowder

Is the gang "clam"oring for some yummy food? Get this Fast Clam Chowder on the table in no time and you'll be sure to quiet them down.

Serves: 4

Preparation Time: 3 min

Cooking Time: 15 min

What You'll Need:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1 (10-3/4-ounce) can cream of potato soup, undiluted
  • 1 (6-1/2-ounce) can minced clams, undrained
What To Do:
  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion; saute, stirring constantly, until onion is tender.

  2. Add milk and remaining ingredients, stirring until blended. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

Notes

There are 2 main types of chowder - Manhattan style, that's tomato based, and New England style, like ours, that's milk based.
