Microwavable Russian Tea

This specialty, known for its orange zing, is great for tea parties. Serve it alongside your favorite tea cookies and finger sandwiches for a taste of true comfort!
What You'll Need
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups orange juice
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tea bags
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
What to Do
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the water, orange juice, pineapple juice, and sugar; mix well. Add the tea bags and microwave at 90% power for 14 to 15 minutes, or until the tea begins to boil.
- Carefully remove the fowl from the microwave oven. Using a fork, dip the tea bags up and down in the liquid to fully brew the tea. Remove the tea bags and add the lemon slices. Stir then serve.
Notes
Garnish each mug with a slice of orange and a sprig of fresh mint. It not only looks great, but it adds a flavor zing!
