  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 2 (4-serving-size) packages instant chocolate pudding and pie filling
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

What to Do

  1. Place cookies in a resealable plastic bag; using a rolling pin, finely crush cookies. Place in a medium bowl, add butter, and mix well. Press mixture into bottom of a 9- x 13-inch baking dish; chill until ready to use.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, vanilla, and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Stir in 2 cups whipped topping. Lightly spread mixture evenly over cookie crust.

I am asked to make this for every holiday. It's so good just as it is!

Not sure what I was expecting when I read the title of this dessert. Come to find out, it is just a "layered" dessert. I am glad that I clicked the recipe. Simple ingredients and just a little time in the kitchen and a long wait for chill but a great recipe to serve on these summer days that are coming up. Fifteen pieces should be just right for my small family.

This is the perfect recipe to prepare and have cut up and place on a buffet. It looks really good when you can view it in layers.

Hey, Can even use whole graham crackers laid side by side.

Very tasty! Served at a potluck dinner and everyone loved it.

This. Looks. Amazing. My family loves chocolate, this will be a huge hit!

Love, love, love, this recipe and so did everyone at a potluck dinner!

Can you use a chocolate graham cracker crust in place of the cookies?

Hi there! A 9-inch pie crust will be too small for this mixture. It may fit in 2 pie crusts, but we haven't tried it this way, so we're not sure. If you decide to give it a try, please let us know how it turns out!

She is not asking to use a pie crust in it's place she is asking if she can use a chocolate graham cracker instead of the oreo cookies. So, make the crust herself and put it in the 9x13 pan (not in a pie pan).

I often use the graham cracker crusts just take them out of the pan and press into the size I need

SMART GIRL!!!! Makes it nice and easy instead of crushing any cookies. And I AM for easy!!!!
