Golden Herb Bread will fill your kitchen with home-baked good smells, and thrill your taste buds with homemade good flavors...with so little effort!

What You'll Need

  • 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg, beaten

What to Do

  1. Thaw bread dough according to package directions.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Cut dough into 1-inch cubes, dip dough pieces into butter mixture, then layer them in a greased 9- x 5-inch loaf pan. Cover loosely with buttered plastic wrap, buttered side down, and let rise until doubled in size (about 45 minutes to 1 hour).
  3. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F. then bake bread 25 minutes, or until top is golden.
  4. Remove bread from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before removing from pan.


Frozen bread dough typically comes 3 to a pack. Why not make all 3 and get 3 times the "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!"?
