How do you get the kids excited about waking up for school? Make ‘em a breakfast they won’t wanna miss out on! They’ll go to school with a belly full of hearty eggs, veggies, and creamy cheese when you serve them a slice of Sunrise Breakfast Pizza (page 3). Not only will they think you’re super cool Plus, they’ll love telling all their friends they had pizza for breakfast! On really busy mornings a quick 3 Minute Breakfast Bagel (page 4) or Breakfast in a Mug (page 5) gives them the morning fuel they need to do well in school. You’ll also want to keep a batch of French Toast Rollups (page 2) in the freezer, for those mornings when you want to give them a sweeter start to their day.
Whether it’s lunch at home or at school, you can keep your kids fueled throughout the day by serving them something that you know they’ll gobble right up. A PB&J Waffle Sandwich (page 10) is always a winner, and they’ll love the unique waffle-twist we’ve given to this classic sandwich recipe. Taco Chicken Wraps (page 11) are a fun and easy kid’s school lunch idea. Send them off to school with these convenient and flavorful wraps, along with a small container of sour cream for dipping, and you might earn a reputation as the coolest parent in town! When they’re at home, our Farmhouse Ham and Cheese Bake (page 9) is a great way to serve up this classic combo. Pair it with a side of fresh fruit and veggies, and you’ll agree…you really are the coolest parent in town!
When school’s over, there’s homework to be done! So, keep ‘em motivated and energized with one of their favorite tummy-pleasing dinners. Every kid loves mac ‘n’ cheese, and our recipe for Magical Mac ‘n’ Cheese (page 13) is one we’ve been told is truly magical. Featuring two different kinds of cheeses, this is one extra-cheesy, super creamy, dinner masterpiece. On days when they need a little extra love, Mama’s Chicken Pot Pie (page 15) is always a good cure. You can even ask them to choose their favorite blend of frozen veggies! Our recipe for Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie (page 14) is another easy favorite that’s filled with hearty ground beef and cheese. Our dinner recipes don’t just make for kid-friendly meals; they’re whole-family-approved, too!
We don’t know many kids who will turn down dessert, so we’ve made sure to include some of our most kid-friendly dessert recipes. Mighty Marshmallow Crescent Puffs (page 21) is one of our most fun recipes for kids to make and eat. That’s ‘cause these sweet treats do a magic trick while they bake! And we’ve never seen a kid frown from being served a slice of Frozen S’mores Stack (page 22). Who wouldn’t like an ice cream cake that tastes like a campfire favorite? Give your kids a full serving of fruit with our sweet recipe for Tutti Frutti Dessert Pizza (page 23). They’ll love eating their favorite fruits on top of a sugar cookie crust!
Studying all day can be pretty tiring, so perk them up with a quick snack break, you know they’re going to love. Our Mini Fruit Pockets (page 25) are our homemade version of a kid-favorite treat. And kids will love dunking their apple slices into our Fluffy Cream Cheese Fruit Dip (page 28), almost as much as you’ll love seeing your kids eating their fruit.
