COOK TIME

Nothing compares to traditional pecan pie. Our easy version will rival anything you can bring home from the bakery. Made with wholesome ingredients and an easy ready-to-bake deep dish pie shell, you'll be a holiday hero.

What You'll Need:
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly-packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) frozen ready-to-bake deep-dish pie shell, thawed
What To Do:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, combine corn syrup, butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt; stir until butter melts.

  2. Remove from heat and add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in pecans and pour into pie shell. Bake 55 to 60 minutes, or until firm. Serve warm or allow to cool before serving.

I made this pecan pie last nite . It was verysymple to make and very delish.

Thanks for the tip on the Splenda brown sugar I use the reg Splenda all the time that's the only kind of sugar I use!! But definitely will be making this hubby loves pecan pie!

I have made pecan pie for years. I have never added any flour, but I'm sure that's o.k. One caution is don't use an electric mixer to beat eggs, just whisk well, also I have never preheated anything just mixed altogether and I prefer dark corn syrup. but either works. Some people think it may be a difficutl pie to make, it's one, if not the easiest, by the way I was born in Oklahoma 75 years ago.

I am a southren girl and love Pecan Pie!!!! I am so glad I have found this recipie.

This recipe is good except when I learned to make Pecan Pie, in LA ,we put pecan halves on the top spaced so you could cut slices.

Fabulous and easy! I used Splenda Brown Sugar and it came out perfect! Thank you!

Thank you for the tip on Splenda Brown Sugar. Great for diabetics.

I just made this for my husband who is from Oklahoma and he is thrilled that it tastes and looks so good.

I'm from OK too and Pecan Pie is a given on EVERY holiday.
