We hate to admit just how easy this recipe is to make. It’s amazing how 4 ingredients and less than 30 minutes can produce such a hot and bubbly crab spread, perfect for last-minute entertaining.

What You'll Need

  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 pound imitation crabmeat, flaked
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well then spoon mixture into prepared pie plate.

  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestion

Serve this up with crackers, or with homemade pita chips that you can make simply by cutting medium pitas into 8 wedges each; separate the halves, and bake on a baking sheet in a preheated 350-degree F. oven until golden and crisp.

THIS RECIPE I JUST HAVE TO MAKE! IT SOUNDS SO GOOD, AND THERE WERE SO MANY GOOD IDEAS IN THIS RATING AND REVIEWS, LIKE USING WONTON WRAPPERS, MAKES IT EVEN BETTER. IT IS GOOD TO EXPERIMENT SOMETIMES. YOU NEVER KNOW HOW GOOD SOMETHING ADDED OR REMOVED FROM A RECIPE IS TILL YOU TRY IT! :-)

Why are we talking about wonton wrappers? Who said anything about wonton wrappers?

Good Question, did I miss something?

The baked wonton wrappers sound delicious. Do you bake them before filling them, or with the filling?

clicked wrong answer. sorry

Can this be microwaved?

I like to line cupcake pans with the wonton wrappers and bake...it makes it a LOT easier. Then I fill them with pretty much the same recipe: cream cheese, a touch of sugar, garlic powder and scallions. My family LOVES them and can't get enough. Enjoy!

This would be good cold and used to fill wonton wrappers, then deep fry or spray with cooking spray on both sides and baked... serve with sweet & sour or duck sauce.

I love the idea on filling the wonton wrappers. Something different from the crackers or pita chips.
