Perfect for dunking in warm spaghetti sauce, our easy homemade Parmesan Garlic Rolls can take the edge off our appetites before any meal; as well as be the perfect bread basket go-along.

What You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup ( stick) butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (10-ounce) package refrigerated bread sticks

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine butter, Parmesan cheese, sesame seeds, and garlic powder; mix well.

  3. On a flat surface, unroll  bread stick dough without separating into individual bread sticks. Brush half butter mixture over top and roll up again. Separate along perforations into individual rolls. Coat both sides of each roll with  remaining butter mixture and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
  4. Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden. Serve warm.

By themselves I found them to be rather bland. They did taste very good with a little butter.

Update They taste a LOT better the next day, especially warmed up. Now even the kids liked them.

Excellente, and beutiful.

The rolls are delicious and so very easy to make. The recipe is a keeper for me!

These were really good served with a pot of soup. I'd like to try again using my own roll recipe though. They had a wonderful taste and smelled divine while baking.

Not a fan of packaged dough. Kindly place an alternative on how to make a dough for this recipe. thanks

I'm a professional chef and there are literally thousands of bread and pizza dough recipes on the internet that would work with this. Since you're on this site, I'm sure you could find one that would suit you. Roll the dough into a rectangle approx 1/4" thickness, make as directed and then slice with a very sharp knife. Let rise in a warm spot for approx 1 hour until doubled in size then brush with the garlic butter again and bake on a cookie sheet @ 350 until golden brown anywhere from 18 to 25 minutes depending on your oven calibration. Let the color of the bun be your guide. I've made rolls like this and they are delicious. It's not hard to find a bread or pizza dough recipe if you look and use your imagination!
