MR. FOOD: Will we ever be able to include our notes when we print the recipe?? I've msde thid before...ohhh soooo gooood!!!!

Could I use box of french vanilla cake mix instead yellow?

Absolutely! We have not tried it in the Test Kitchen, but it should taste great with that substitution. Good luck!

This recipe has a ton of options! You can add extracts, nuts, coconut and/or use different fruits and pudding flavors to change up the tropical flavors. Yum!

added maraschino cherries, cut in half & rinsed, mandrian oranges, drained, & 1 cup chopped coconut. baked in bundt pan @ 325 for 1 hour. it is a super sub for classic fruitcake

I am going to make this, and I think I might add a little orange extract. This will add a little more tropical flavor to it....or at least I hope so.

wow, never made a dessert like this BUT will for family dinner this weekend
