Easy and good! One of grandkids favorites to make with me since she was 4 or 5. Not having the ingredients for peach one time, I also make it with pineapple. For the pie filling I use one can of undrained crushed pineapple, which I cook down in a saucepan until it's canned pie filling consistency and let it cool. I use pineapple chunks, with some quartered maraschino cherries mixed in. I like to use spice cake with the pineapple. Tastes like pineapple upside down cake. This is one recipe that can easily be adapted for different tastes and preferences. It's wonderful warm with vanilla ice cream.

I like Spice cake!!
