Remember the cookies Mom had waiting for us after school? How 'bout baking a memory today?

What You'll Need

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (1 6-ounce package) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugars. Blend in the remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes.

    Makes about 5 dozen.
