Jazz up your holiday cookie platter with these Chocolate-Dipped Lace Cookies. Featuring the buttery flavor of pecans and dipped in chocolate, these cookies are a real holiday treat!

What You'll Need

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until well combined. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; beat until combined. Stir in pecans.
  3. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, about 3-inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Let cookies cool on baking sheet 5 minutes or until firm, then, remove to a wire rack to let cool completely.
  4. In a microwaveable bowl, melt chocolate chips 60 to 90 seconds, stirring occasionally until chocolate is melted and smooth. (Do not overheat.)
  5. Dip one edge of cookies in melted chocolate. Place on waxed paper until set. Serve or keep stored in an airtight container.
