Jazz up your holiday cookie platter with these Chocolate-Dipped Lace Cookies. Featuring the buttery flavor of pecans and dipped in chocolate, these cookies are a real holiday treat!
What You'll Need
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until well combined. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; beat until combined. Stir in pecans.
- Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, about 3-inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Let cookies cool on baking sheet 5 minutes or until firm, then, remove to a wire rack to let cool completely.
- In a microwaveable bowl, melt chocolate chips 60 to 90 seconds, stirring occasionally until chocolate is melted and smooth. (Do not overheat.)
- Dip one edge of cookies in melted chocolate. Place on waxed paper until set. Serve or keep stored in an airtight container.
