Not only do these taste super, but they're better than the snowballs we make after a new snowfall...'cause we can make them year round!

What You'll Need

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 3/4 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed

What to Do

  1. In a small bowl, combine the walnuts and sprinkles; mix well. Place a scoop of ice cream into the mixture and roll until completely covered, gently pressing the nuts and sprinkles into the ice cream as you roll.

  2. Place the ice cream ball onto a plate and repeat with the remaining ice cream; freeze for 1 hour, or until firm, then wrap individually in plastic wrap and re-freeze until ready to serve.

  3. To serve, pour the fudge sauce evenly into 4 dessert bowls and place the ice cream balls in the center of the sauce. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ice cream is a back-to-basics dessert that is truly a favorite of the young and the not-so-young. So if you serve it like this, you're bound to make a big hit!
