Don't blame us if you can't stop popping these sweet treats into your mouth! Our Snickerdoodle Poppers are absolutely yummylicious. They're perfect for serving up at birthday parties or anytime you've got the gang together, 'cause they can be picked up and eaten without stopping the fun.

What You'll Need

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

What to Do

  1. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and the cinnamon; set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat about 2 inches of oil to 325 degrees F.
  3. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together milk, yogurt, butter, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining 1/4 cup sugar.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place in oil; fry in batches 6 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
