If you have a cookie jar that needs filling, I recommend these. But I can't guarantee how long they'll stay in there!
What You'll Need
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and pecans; mix until well blended. Pour into prepared baking dish. Top with chocolate chips and pecans.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool, then cut into bars.
