Well, it's mothers day and I wanted to give my mom new adventurous recipes. Anyways, I really like quiches and she loves asparagus.

Made this for dinner two nights ago 5 stars! I made two departures from the published recipe 1. Used a frozen deep-dish pie crust from Marie Callender, because I'm not good with pie crust, even the refrigerated kind. 2. My grocer did not have any shredded swiss cheese, and the block swiss that he did have, which I could have shredded myself, was not of a very good appearance. So I opted for a shredded 6-cheese Italian blend which included Mozzarella, Provolone, Asiago, Romano, and a couple others. The baking time was perfect at 45 minutes. The thing was gorgeous when it came out of the oven, and after a short rest we tied into it, with a small green salad. The quiche was FABULOUS! Thanks again, Mr. Food! Another home run!

What was the brand name of the crust that was used for this quiche recipe. After it came out of the oven, it looks like it puffed up and looks delicious??? THANKS

Hey there- the Test Kitchen used Pillsbury refrigerated crust.
