What You'll Need

  • 5 cups fresh broccoli florets (about 1 pound)
  • 5 cups fresh cauliflower florets (about 1 pound)
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 large red bell pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

What to Do

  1. Arrange broccoli and cauliflower florets in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 8 minutes.

  2. Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium-high hat. Add broccoli mixture, bell pepper, and remaining ingredients; saut 5 to 7 minutes or until crisp-tender. Serve immediately.
