Cauliflower never tasted, or looked, better! It'll perform beautifully with any star attraction-roast beef, chicken, or turkey.

What You'll Need

  • 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup round buttery cracker crumbs (about 23 crackers)
  • 1 1/2 cup (6 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (16-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and cook 5 minutes or until tender; drain. Set aside.

  2. Combine butter and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in cauliflower, 1 cup cheese, the onion, bell pepper, and tomatoes. Spoon into a lightly greased 9- x 13-inch baking dish.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese, and bake 5 more minutes.

I am not commenting about this recipe. What I want to know is how come I can save some of the recipes to my recipe box and others I cant , even though I am signed in. it is very frustrating. The other day you had a recipe for Spanish meatballs but I could not save it .Could you send it again as I will write it down if I have to. Thank you

Hi there! Can you let us know where you saw the recipe for Spanish meatballs? Also, can you let us know which browser you're using? Thanks!

to cut down carbs use crushed pork rinds instead of crackers

I made this and the wife says, it's a keeper. In my opinion it is a bit runny. To me, the tomatoes are out of place.

I have not made this but I will in a few days and from reading the reviews it sounds like it is a bit bland. What I will do is add the herbs and spices I like which will make it no longer bland. Sounds like it good be a top dish.

I made the recipe as indicated with exception of adding a little dried basil after reading one post that the flavor was bland. Overall I liked the flavor of the casserole but for my taste I would have liked the cracker/butter mixture sprinkled on top for perhaps some crunch but with the remainder of the recipe as directed. I still give it a 5 star rating as I love all the ingredients and they complimented one another. I would make again.

This is very BLAND in FLAVOR I will not make this again there are a lot more Cauliflower dishes out there that actually has taste to it and worth spending the money for them.

Delicious!!!! I will definitely make and again and again.

I have always loved Mr. Food recipes

I had no idea this would turn out so good, but it did with nothing but raves for it!!!

Delicious! Will try again!

This is the tastiest cauliflower recipe I have ever tried. I love it and will make it again.

This recipe is just as good without the crackers. If you want buttery taste add just a little butter and not all the carbs. You miss the mark by not putting calerie ciount and nutrion on your recipes.
