Sharpen up your party hosting skills with some barbecue shrimp the whole crowd will surely love.

What You'll Need

  • 4 1/2 pounds peeled, medium-size raw shrimp (see Note)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients in a lightly greased large shallow roasting pan; toss to coat. Arrange shrimp in a single layer.

  2. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring occasionally.

Notes

If you'd rather peel your own shrimp, you'll need to start with 6-1/4 pounds of unpeeled, medium-size fresh shrimp. You can get a jump-start on these by peeling the shrimp a day ahead and storing in large resealable plastic freezer bags in the fridge. You can also serve these as your main dish. If you opt for an entree, you'll get 10 to 12 main-dish servings.
