Spicy, nutty, and D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S, these Hot Chili Peanuts are killer! You'll love 'em as much as we do!

What You'll Need

  • 9 cups salted dry-roasted peanuts (about 2-1/2 pounds)
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons ground red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spread peanuts in a single layer on an ungreased 10- x 15-inch rimmed baking sheet.

  2. Combine butter and remaining 3 ingredients; stir well. Pour butter mixture over peanuts; toss gently. Bake 15 minutes, stirring often.

Notes

Don't worry if you have only unsalted dry-roasted peanuts in your pantry; simply add 1 or 1-1/2 tablespoons of salt instead of the 1/2 teaspoon called for in this recipe.

Is this cayenne pepper?

I'm pretty sure this means cayenne, since it's called "hot" - I'll be making it with cayenne!
