Basil Glazed Chicken

You're really gonna love the tangy-sweet flavors of this easy but oh-so-elegant glazed chicken. Our recipe for Basil Glazed Chicken is ready in 15 minutes, making it easy enough for a weeknight meal but fancy enough for entertaining guests.

What You'll Need

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

What to Do

  1. Sprinkle both sides of chicken with salt and pepper.
     
  2. In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil.  Add chicken; cook 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Turn chicken, and cook 6 minutes or until done. Stir in vinegar, honey, and basil; cook 1 minute, turning chicken to coat with glaze.

Very quick, very easy, pretty tasty! Husband said it was "pretty good". I see he packed the leftovers for his lunch tomorrow! Will make this again. We had brown rice and tossed salad with this.

Go with about a third the amount of salt and this recipe is really great!
