Florida "Champagne"

5 Min

Our Florida "Champagne" is a smart party drink that calls for its own celebration!

What You'll Need

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 liters ginger ale, chilled, plus extra for ice mold
  • Orange slices (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries (optional)
  • 4 cups cranberry juice, chilled
  • 4 cups pineapple juice, chilled
  • 2 cups orange juice, chilled

What to Do

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water; boil for 3 minutes, or until syrupy. Chill.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the extra ginger ale with the orange slices and cherries in a mold; freeze.
  3. Combine chilled sugar-water mixture and juices in a large punch bowl.
  4. Before serving, add 2 liters chilled ginger ale and the ice mold (see Note).

As the ice mold melts, the punch keeps its flavor and isn't diluted as it would be with regular ice.
