All right, it's time to get out those oversized plastic picnic glasses and fill 'em with ice and some pure summer refreshment.
What You'll Need
- 8 cups (2 quarts) water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
What to Do
- In a large saucepan, bring all the ingredients except the lemon juice to a rolling boil over high heat. Remove from the heat, cover, and allow to cool for one hour. Strain into a large pitcher, discarding the mint leaves. Add the lemon juice; mix well and serve over ice.
