Like most people I love chocolate so when I read triple chocolate my eyes light up. This sounds so tasty and simple and there is nothing there that we wouldnt have at home or it would be simple to collect for a local store. I think my partner will adore this as well.

Instead of using malted milk balls use Carnation Malted Milk, (chocolate or vanilla). It's much better and there's no gritty texture. Mix it well with the milk and syrup first and then add the ice cream. You won't believe just how good this is until you try it.

Mr. Food I have used cookies in my milk shakes but I never thought of using malted milk balls. I love chocalate milk shakes and cannot wait to make this for me this weekend. My wife loves strawberries milk shakes and I printed up your memory lane milk shake to make it for her this weekend. Thanks again for everything to you Mr. Food and your staff.

Thank you 'Mr. Food" for bringing back my (tasty teen memories)! Wow!!! And a hint to [BuddyandAndy] ...... maybe your blender isn't powerful enough. Also you could try to substitute A 'Malted Milk Powder' for the malt balls. Just experiment. Hope it works for you.

Good but wondering why the malted milk balls. I really crushed mine finely in blender--was careful to do this and then I used the rest of the ingredients. Tastes good, but I had a slight gritty texture. Will go without the malted milk balls next time. Love them but not for the shake :)
