Notes

Traditionally, ambrosia is this simple, but we've seen it made with pineapple chunks and miniature marshmallows, too. Try it either way.

Don't forget to add a container of sour cream if you're using marshmallows and pineapple chunks. Instead of oranges i use a can of drained mandarin oranges. In fact to make a larger amount for a party i use 1 bag of mini marshmallows, 3 cans of drained pineapple chunks, 1/2 jar of drained maraschino cherries, and 3 small cans of drained mandarin oranges. mix together with the sour cream

I use can fruit cocktail mini marshmellow can of mandarin oranges cool whip. 1/2 -1 cup chop pecans or walnuts and shredded coconut and a sm can of shredded pineapple mix it all together and place in fridge till ready to serve. just make sure ya drain off the juices.
