They'll be shouting "Hot diggity dog!" for Hot Dog Bundles, a combo of hot dogs and beans served together in buns.

What You'll Need

  • 1 (15-ounce) package hot dogs, cut into 1-inch slices
  • 2 (16-ounce) cans vegetarian baked beans
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 8 hot dog rolls, split

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. In a 2-quart casserole dish, combine all ingredients except rolls; mix well.
     
  3. Cover and bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Spoon into hot dog buns and serve.

I agree w/ladytopaz.....hot dog rolls not necessary. Buttered Hawaiian rolls on the side are so good.

ok, you are messing up "Beenie-Weenies". Just get a couple cans of pork and beans and pour into a medium sized pot. Cut the hot dogs in 1/2 inch pieces ( this is because little children can't take that big of a bite ) and heat thoroughly . Donot put it on a bun. Serve a piece of bread and butter on the side if you want to.

Instead of the hot dog buns, what about little rolls cut top off take out some dough and you have little bread bowls for the beenie weenies.
