I have never in my life heard of Mexican stroganoff but it looks really nice. I will have to give a try. I am just wondering do you have to use a jar of salsa or could I use a homemade one? Could I make my own spaghetti sauce as well? What is in a Mexican cheese blend?

You can use your own homemade sausage, but make sure it has a punch to it. You can absolutely make your own spaghetti sauce. A Mexican cheese blend can be found in the cheese aisle of any supermarket. It's usually a combo of cheeses such as Monterey Jack, Mild Cheddar, and a few others.

We love this. I'm new to Mr Foods , can't wait to try more.

I loved this. I will make it again, and this time,I will take a little time and put the mixture into the oven to heat and melt the cheese.

I am going to make this next week. I don't eat beef so I will leave that out and add maybe corn and onions. This sounds so good. Will let you know it turns out with my changes.

Calculate your own nutritional values according to the brands you use. I am in Australia and sometimes have to find replacement ingredients as we dont have the same items here (first I have to find out what it is - some of them would be very handy to have here). I also have to convert the cooking temps and quatities (we dont use pounds/ounces or have a stick of butter). Love the recipes.

I have said it before on this site - and I will now say it again. If you cannot calculate the nutritional values for yourself, and the information is critical to your health - then you MUST for your own sake frequent websites who make it simple for people who cannot ascertain this information for themselves. I hope you are just conscious of your health and not in that critical a condition - but come on - that info is not on this site. So quit wasting your time somewhere that won't hold your hand!

Why ARE YOU HERE IF YOU DO NOY LIKE THIS SITE!!! I believe you are stealing the reciepes you want. To bad the site cannot recognize you surfing this ste and BAN YOU from it!!!

I also add fresh mushrooms and onions saute in olive oil first yummmmm

STOP THE B___ING ABOUT nutritional info Stop complaining and move on to a site that will make you HAPPY! LIKE http://www.eatingwell.com or http://www.skinnytaste.com and leave Mr. Food alone

I LOVE Mr. Food website and recipes! If anyone has an issue about the nutritional info why can't you read the package yourself and do the math? You want it to be low fat then use low fat stuff or make it fat free if you want. It's Not hard to do the math people.

I agrtee with cpeck03 5298557 and JimkKC222. There are some great recipes here, but until they start listing nutritional information, they are of no use to me. I believe that Mr. Food needs to realize that more and more people are trying to eat healthier. Listing the nutritional information would be a huge help to us all.

Although I feel it would be handy to have the nutritional information, to say "they are of no use to me" is silly. You have all the information on each package you put into the receipe. Simple math should allow you to determine all the info you need. I usually modify these receipies anyway, so even if we were given the info, I would still have to calculate it myself.

THEN GET OFF OF HIS WEB SITE, THERE ARE PLENTY OF SITE THAT LIST NUTRITIONAL INFO. STOP WASTING OUR TIME WITH THIS, MOVE ON PLEASE

Then why are you even on this website. Go away and please don't come back.

If the nutritional information is important to you there are many nutritional calculators on the internet. Here is one http://www.livingcookbook.com/product/movies/nutritional-calculator.asp Just put "nutrition calculator" into google or Bingl.

Before I make this, what steps would lizaloo be questioning?

Great recipes but I would use more if nutritional information was given. So many of us must watch calories, carbs, fat, etc. This would make deciding to use specific recipe easier.

Most of that stuff depends on the brands of product you use. Unless this is your first day of trying to eat healthy, you should be able to figure most of that out by yourself. If you simply are unable to determine what you should eat, go to another recipe site that will dictate that for you.

This recipe was rated 5 stars by everyone tonight! (2 adults, 8 year old and a 12 year old!) VERY easy to make - very tasty! WONDERFUL combination. We added a little sour cream on top. The recipe stated it serves 6, we fed a family of 4 on it and have leftovers. It looks like it will be enough for another dinner. We served Spanish Rice with it.

I still refuse to use this site until it starts adding Nutritional Information!

Then why are you here? This is what's wrong with America today, some people want everything done for them. I don't mean to be rude. All you have to do is read each package and do the math and to make it healthier use low fat or fat free stuff.

I really can't believe you. Is someone there in your home forcing you to log on and get these recipes? This is a GREAT source for recipes, and it's totally free! Stop wasting everyone's time with your complaining, and go out and make someone smile.

That is fine, go away and don't come back. Those of us who enjoy Mr. Food's recipes are sick and tired of you whiners who just want to complain. Please go far away.

I think you skipped a few steps.
