Caramelized Sweet Potato Casserole

We've put a spin on a traditional sweet potato casserole by adding some new ingredients that will add a richness to everyone's favorite Thanksgiving side dish. One bite of our Caramelized Sweet Potato Casserole and you'll never go back to the original again!
What You'll Need:
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 (29-ounce) cans sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 bananas, coarsely mashed
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
What To Do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except bananas and brown sugar; mix well then spoon into casserole dish. Spoon bananas evenly on top, then sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Bake 35 to 45 minutes, or until heated through and sugar is caramelized.
