Spiced Grape Relish

(0 Votes)

Deliciously different, this can be served hot or cold as the perfect accent for roast beef or pork!

What You'll Need

  • 2 pounds red seedless grapes, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves

What to Do

  1. In a large saucepan, bring all the ingredients to a boil over medium-high heat. Allow to boil for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the grapes cook down and the mixture thickens.

  2. Remove the cinnamon stick and cloves, and serve the relish warm. If you prefer to serve it cold, allow the relish to cool completely, then store in an airtight container and chill at for least 4 hours before serving.

    Makes about 11/2 cups.
