Why would you disrespect the culinary industry and ruin a fantastic and expensive world class ingredient such as scallops and ruin them with canned creamed soup or mozzarella cheese like some people. If you spend money for fresh scallops spend another $15.00 and use fresh quality ingredients for the rest of the dish.

I added some mozzarella cheese to this great meal.

this is a fantastic main meal.

Is there anyway this site could give calorie fiber and fat and carb. info. Am diabetic and need to know these things.

A canned claim sauce or home-made? If canned, would I drop the cream and wine or still use them?

I would prefer a white clam sauce over can soup.

Thank you. At least you have some taste.

Try a white clam sauce vs the soup, just a thought.

A white clam sauce is just clam juice, olive oil, and garlic. The Cream of Celery soup adds body. The white clam sauce does not.

I agree. I don't like to use canned soups in recipes either. Please give us a choice.

Easy and very tastey. Served over Linguine noodles. Can Soup ok and quick. White sauce would be good for those who have more experience cooking.

Please stop ruining otherwise good food with those awful cream of YUK!!! soups; or at least include alternate ingredients

I totally agree with you about those canned soups. It over powers every recipe I've ever used. I use a basic white sauce and flavor it accordingly.

Some people don't care for white wine sauce, tastes great with soup. Tastes are different.

excellent recipe
