Want to know the secret to making your steak experience completely awesome? Creamed Spinach! Our Steakhouse Creamed Spinach is creamy and buttery without over powering the greens (or your steak) making it the perfect addition to your fancy dinner.

What You'll Need:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 (9-ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
What To Do:
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter; add spinach, and stir until heated through.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to spinach and cook 4 to 5 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
Lighten It Up

This is the creamiest if you make it according to the recipe, but you can lighten it up by replacing the heavy cream with whole milk and the regular sour cream with a reduced-fat variety. That alone will save you about 96 calories and 13 grams of fat per serving.
