I am trying to get my subscription back. I don't know I lost it. Virginia

Made this cake, but instead of frosting, served with Cool Whip and a strawberry or two on top. Sweet enough without frosting.

I am going to make this for social hour at our church this Sunday. All of us breast cancer survivors are bringing treats and I was looking for something pink and yet simple. Thanks.

I have made this with lemon Jello and is really good. I garnish it with chopped walnuts. I also looking for a recipe called Sunset Salad. It is made with lemon Jello, ground carrots, crushed pineapple, pineapple juice and celery. I have lost my recipe. This molded salad recipe is very old. If you have it you can reach me at noconnell@maine.rr.com Thank you.

Just google sunset salad and lots of recipes for it come up. Maybe you've already found it, I just saw your question today, so I thought I would reply.

I made this cake using Kinnikinnick Foods White Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Cake Mix. Other than the frosting being a little sweet; It was delicious. I think next time I will use a homemade fluffy white frosting recipe and add sugar free strawberry jam to it. My husband like it as is though.

I have a question for crouchmj: does that make the strawberry flavor really intense? Sounds really good to me. I'm curious to try it.

I have cake similiar to this, but I now NEED gluten free food, can you do a GF version of this?. Betty Crocker has a yellow cake mix and chocolate and that is my choices. Also they only make an 8x8 size. Would like some GF recipes sometimes Thanks

Sounds yummy....great for a brunch or get to gether of the ladies....

Seems like it would be about as simple to just buy the strawberry cake mix instead of white and buy the jello.

I make a strawberry cake with strawberry jello and I use the strawberry cake mix.

The jello adds a fresher strawberry flavor,it also changes the texture just a bit. The cake turns out a bit denser and stays moist longer then one made with strawberry cake mix.

I was wondering the same thing. If anyone knows if it makes a difference please let us know.

Sorry, Tia Mia answered my question. Don't know how I missed it. Thanks.
