- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 (16.5-ounce) rolls refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9- x 13-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well mixed; set aside.
- Slice cookie dough rolls into 1/4-inch-thick slices. Arrange slices from one roll on bottom of prepared baking dish; press together so there are no holes in dough. Spoon cream cheese mixture evenly over dough; top with remaining slices of cookie dough.

CANNOT wait to try this, BUT I have a recipe similar. Line bottom of rectangular cake pan with Oreo cookies. On top of the Oreos place cut up Chocolate Chip cookie dough side to side, end to end. THEN, this is important place holes through the around the Chocolate Cookie Dough, not too many, but enough to have the brownie mix (as chocolatey as possible) that you are going to prepare to seep through the hole into the Oreo Cookies. Bake per directions of brownie mix, but keep an eye on it. This recipe was given to me from Erin (if you follow Mr Food Erin, I wanted to give credit where credit is due.) She called this "Heart Attach Brownies". It's very rich and tasty.

A cheesecake with a crust on top! Can you imagine the possibilities of making different versions of this Chocolate chip cheesecake. If you prefer sugar cookies or white chocolate chip macadamia, you can go crazy. Switch up the bottom and top layers. I will have a great time with this recipe.

As much as I love cheesecake you would think I would have known its origin. Who says you have to know where something came from to enjoy it? That was a great little history lesson and trust and believe, I will continue to enjoy the wonderful dessert that is cheesecake.

This is my go-to dessert recipe. I found that if I take the cookie dough and roll it out between 2 pieces of parchment paper, it will fit the pans much easier. I trace the bottom of the pan onto the top parchment so when I roll it out, I know how large to make the dough. The top is so much easier to handle this way.

Instead of using those cookie dough rolls, do you think this could be done by just using a cookie dough mix? (either from scratch or a box?)

Unfortunately, we haven't tried using other types of cookie dough mixes to make this recipe, so we're not sure how it would turn out. If you decide to give it a try, please let us know how it worked out for you. Thank you!

I made it yesterday and it is delicious but the top layer of cookie dough sunk into the cheesecake batter. Is this supposed to happen? It's not like it's ruined or anything, it's still awesome but I'm just wondering.

I rolled out the cookie dough between sheets of waxed paper, it made it very easy to put this dish together. Also I used Greek yogurt cream cheese, the bars baked and set up beautifully. This recipe is a keeper.

well I tried it in a muffin pan and it came out good. Just sprayed the pan, lined each well with cookie dough, filled with cheese cake mix and baked for about 40 minutes. Let cool all the way and gently lift right out.

This desert sounds wonderful and I must try it! Many if not most of your recipes sound and look wonderful! One thing I do not understand, why are there so many people who constantly complain about 'just something' on this site? It is a wonderful site, so many delicious recipes, colorful pictures and a staff with the 'patience of Job' who puts up with constant complainers! Especially people who complain about too much sugar, or too much butter! I am sure there is a simple solution to your problem; go to a site that will accomodate your lifestyle as a cook.

Just go up to File, then down to Print Preview and the recipe will pop up. I always check if there is a page 2. Most times, there is nothing there worthwhile to print so just click Pages - 1 then click print. You're set to go. Hope this helps.

If you are using Google Chrome for a browser: 1. Go to "print" 2. In the "destination" field change from your printer to save as PDF 3. Click "save" 4. Now you have the recipe in PDF format! You can just keep it that way or print it if you really want it on paper

I have made something like this only have made it a no bake peanut butter cheese cake and used home made cookie dough. I have even made it without the cookie dough on top. It was a winner both ways. I will try this with just the plain cheese cake and from looking at a few of the reviews, cut the sugar/which I would do anyway and also cut out 1 egg.

Okay so for 1: I would use 3 tubes of cookie dough, not 2 if I were to ever make this again. I would also cut the sugar in the filling in half. This is INCREDIBLY sweet even for my sugar loving hubby. I would probably make this again but with a twist, making sugar cookie and lemon cheesecake, or shortbread and cheesecake. Even maybe my own cookie dough but cut the sugar in it. I was really truly disappointed.

I divided the cream cheese mixture part of this recipe in three today to make a 9" x 5 " pan. I used 1 pkg (454 gm ) of Pillsbury Ready To Bake - Choc Chip Cookies . It took 50 minutes to cook. I wanted to try it in a smaller amount first - 6 large servings or 8 small ones in this size pan. My husband liked it very much.

Originally made this with sugar cookie dough on the bottom and the chocolate chip on the top, and the reviewers said it was good but very sweet and rich. Today, I am only doing the bottom layer with cookie dough leaving the cheesecake exposed. Also, as it's Valentine's day, I am using 'Red Velvet' cookie dough! :-) For those of you saying this is not healthy...well DUH who eats cheesecake to be healthy? Also, you can use homemade cookie dough, but I would recommend making the dough and then refrigerating it so it has a nice hard texture :-)

Hi goobersis3788 1690411 - For the top layer of this cheesecake, you simply need to lay the slices of cookie dough on top of the cream cheese mixture. The dough slices will expand when baking and will create a top layer for the cheesecake. Hope this helps! -Editors of Mr. Food

While I LOVE the idea of he cheesecake/Chocolate Chip cookie combo, I was disappointed to see that it used processed ready made cookie dough...that defeats the whole purpose of cooking at home...I'll figure out a way to make from scratch, thank you...

it looks good! I will make it & let U know. What about the raw egg? Shouldn't U maybe, slowly double boil it for a minute or 2? I make Tiramisu',& I cook the egg yolk over a double boiler for a few minutes. It still comes out delicious. I am a chocoholic, but I always try a recipe myself before I make it for other people. So I will be back to comment:)Francesca

I made these last night with from scratch cookie dough - I made a double batch and it was WAY too much. Took HOURS for it to cook, and never fully cooked. I think it would be okay if you maybe only use 1 1/2 a batch or maybe just one.
