With just a few squirts of cooking spray, boneless chicken breasts are ready for our flavorful herb coating. Herb-crusted chicken can't be any easier!

What You'll Need

  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 1 (2-1/2- to 3-pound) chicken, cut into 8 pieces and skin removed
  • Nonstick cooking spray

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Coat a nonstick rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients except the chicken and spray; mix well. Place egg whites in a shallow dish.

  3. Dip the chicken in the egg whites then in the bread crumb mixture, coating completely.  Place chicken pieces 1 inch apart on the baking sheet. Spray the chicken with cooking spray and bake 40 to 45 minutes, or until no pink remains and the juices run clear.
