Chocolate Chip Toffee Bites

Whether you're having some friends over for a game night or you've been asked to bring dessert to a potluck, these Chocolate Chip Toffee Bites are a great choice. They're perfect for feeding a crowd and offer that bite-sized, chocolaty goodness that everyone loves. Plus, the combination of graham crackers, chocolate chips, walnuts, and toffee candy is delicious! 

What You'll Need

  • CRUST
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  •  
  • FILLING
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (2.8-ounce) chocolate toffee candy bar, coarsely chopped

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and melted butter; mix well. Press mixture firmly into bottom of baking dish. Bake 10 minutes; set aside. 
  3. In a large bowl, beat with an electric mixer, 2 sticks butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, and the brown sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and salt, and beat until thoroughly mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Gently spread onto prepared crust. Sprinkle with candy pieces. 
  4. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely and cut into bite-sized squares.
