I used this recipe as an inspiration and made my own...1 can drained rinsed dark kidney beans , I sliced the olives , used drained mushrooms, chopped celery 1 can of drained green beans(not French style) 2 cloves of garlic minced mix a little apple cider vinegar oil salt pepper to taste refrigerate till cold Very good If you like can add 1/2-1 teaspoon oregano for extra flavor

I didn't like it in general, can't say exactly why.

The Marinated Salad uses garbanzo beans. I do not like them. What would be a good substitute?

Hi there! In this recipe you can substitute any white bean such as cannellini beans, or canned carrots, corn or peas. Enjoy!
