We do not cheddar cheese soup in this house. Is there a substitute or something I can make? Otherwise, it really sounds good.

Hi! You could substitute with a jar of Velveeta cheese, or make a cheese sauce using Cheddar cheese, milk, flour, and butter.

This Was very good

I made this for 2 of us and it was okay, not great. I used 1 hot and 1 mild Italian sausage and we both thought pepperoni would have added more flavor. I used my 6 quart crockpot and cooked on high for the 1st hour because I didn't have 4 1/2 hours before serving. I then put it on low for about 2 hours and the pasta was mushy. This would have served 6 because we had enough leftovers for 4 more servings.

Awesome. I added Italian Sausage and a half teaspoon more of Italian seasoning. It came out amazing well. Even my wife was impressed. I will definitely make this one over and over again!

Sound good, but not the bell pepper can't eat them. Will a try a Cubanelle (Italian sweets pepper) and also add saute mushroom(fresh) maybe Italian sausage

bnrudy, the addition of italian sausage and mushrooms sounds good to me. Thank you for the suggestion.
