COOK TIME
25 Min

"Slow-cooked" often goes along with ribs, but not this time. And during the short time these ribs are cooking, steam some corn on the cob and boil a few potatoes. Then in less than thirty minutes, you'll have your own slow-cooked-tasting barbecue!

What You'll Need

  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced

What to Do

  1. In a large skillet, cook ribs over high heat 4 to 5 minutes, turning to brown on all sides.

  2. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well then add to skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-high, cover, and cook 18 to 20 minutes, or until ribs are tender.

  3. Serve with sauce spooned over ribs.

This will be part of Christmas dinner at my house today , thanks .

I would be tempted to try this recipe in a slow-cooker.....

I made the sauce with reduced sugar ketchup and sugar free honey. To that I added cumin, some dehydrated minced onion, a bit of liquid smoke, and a touch of rice wine vinegar. It took the ribs about 45 minutes to cook, and the sauce was wonderful. Definitely a do-again recipe.

Used my own sauce but the ribs turned out perfectly in such a short time !! My new go to for ribs on the fly !! De-Lish !!

Did they really cook in 18-20 min.???

The time frame is what I'm wondering about also.

These are BONELESS country-style "ribs" so yes they should cook in 20 minutes.

Sounds like a good indoor recipe, but were I live you can not barbeque in a skillet.
