My husband and I both do not like any kind of mustard. Is there something I could replace the mustard with in the glaze? Thank you.

Hello! Mustard can be replaced with peach, apricot, apple preserve or jam. You would remove the honey and cornstarch and just heat the jam with the orange juice. Hope this helps!

That sounds so much better. Use 1/2 cup of jam? I really appreciate your help.

Hi there! Yes, 1/2 cup preserves and maybe 1/4 cup OJ or liquid. :)

Loved the way it turn out, nice and juicy. The pork chops had some fat which added to the flavour.

Awesome!!!

Really good. Pork chops came out nice and tender with excellent flavor. Will make again.

It would be helpful if you provided an alternative ingredient for alcohol o do not for those of us who do not use or drink alcohol. Due to medical and personal convictions we stay away from such liquids.

Hi William - We do try to provide alternative ingredients in the comments or notes when a recipe calls for alcohol as an ingredient. Is there a specific recipe you were concerned about? Thank you!

I just made the 15-minute glazed pork chops! This is for sure the best pork chops we've ever had. My husband went on and on and on. The chops I had in the house were thicker, so I cooked them a little longer. I used a top-grade dijon mustard which had a spicy kick to it. YUM. It was simple to make and I served it with green beans and mashed potatoes. I put the sauce on everything, no gravy necessary. The mixture of flavors was huge and so delicious. Hope you all try this recipe. Just take your time and don't over-cook the chops. They should be nice and moist.

Dinner was ok - everyone ate 1 chop - no one went for seconds which tells me not to make this again.

Easy and very good!!! The sauce is tangy. I plan on trying it on chicken breasts next.

Is this gluten free?

We dont believe this is gluten free. The Dijon mustard, cornstarch and seasoning salt may have gluten.

No wheat flour in the recipe or the Dijon mustard, so it's gluten free.

Made this for dinner tonight, very tasty !!

The glazed pork first it sounded different but after preparing the recipe it is tasty and a delicious dish. http://www.foodsnearme.com/discount-coupons

IT IS " OH SO GOOD " !!!!

"Mr Foods Test Kitchen," ..... thanks again for another tasty recipe; love this site, and appreciate all your efforts. I've read comments from time to time where there are many disgruntled people. I know you have bent over backwards trying to please everyone too, but you'll never please everyone all the time, so take my word for it along with many other satisfied "Cooks & Bakers" that (you are doing a wonderful job)!!! I've been to other 'food sites' and sometimes you have to about stand on your head to get to even print out a recipe! I love "Mr Food site" and this is one person who is thrilled with you all!!! And I know if "Mr Food" was still here, he'd still be patting you'ns on the back. Keep up the good work; I know you will :) Sincerely, 'little ole' Ohio cook,' Sherry

Beautifully said Sherry. I too, enjoy this site because it is easy to get to, easy to make recipes, and easy to print. I think we will all miss Mr. Food but i'm so happy that they kept this site alive.

I concur and thank you, Sherry, for so eloquently expressing your AND my feelings. Mr. Food IS THE BEST site.......it is my GO TO site for recipes. Can we rate this site too? I give it 6 out of 5 stars (because you people go above and beyond). Nuff sed! Chess

sounds good. I'm going to try it.

I agree with Slik14u. I appreciate the coupons, but i use a laptop and don't have a printer, so this doesn't do me any good, and the popups are very annoying.

I really want to try this recipe but I'm allergic to oranges. If there anything that I can use instead of the orange juice?

We would recommend substituting the orange juice with either apple juice or apricot nectar. Thank you and enjoy!

What is it with all these pop ups for lower calorie and flags on ingredients....I don't want all that junk on my printed recipes; if I want a change in ingredients I'd like to do it. Just keep them simple like they were!

Thank you for your comments. We are testing the new coupons that you see popping up on our recipes. We are hoping they will be a big success for our customers. We are still in the testing phase, but if we decide to keep them, we will work on a way to fix them so they don't appear on the printed recipes. We appreciate your patience and hope you take advantage of these great coupons!

Thank You for taking that horrible looking "woman"off the site!!

not everyone can eat these recipes as-is, and it's nice to have the suggestions. This website was made for millions of people, not just for you.
