What You'll Need
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
What to Do
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 5 to 10 seconds, or until well blended. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container until ready to use.
Makes about 2 cups dressing.
You can use Tomato Vinaigrette as a dressing for tossed salads and pasta salads, and also as a vegetable marinade.
